53. Recusal and disclosure of interests

(1)Any member of the Advisory Committee who has a direct or indirect pecuniary interest in a matter being considered at a meeting of the Advisory Committee must, as soon as possible after the relevant facts have come to the member’s knowledge, disclose the nature of the interest at the meeting.

 

(2) A disclosure in terms of subsection (2) must be—
(a) recorded in the minutes of the meeting of the Advisory Committee; and
(b) made known in any advice given by the Committee in relation to that matter.
