A flight engineer licence shall be valid for an indefinite period: Provided that the privileges of the licence shall not be exercised by a holder thereof unless—
(a) | he or she is a holder of a valid Class 2 medical certificate issued in terms of Part 67; and |
(b) | he or she holds a valid type rating. |
