(1) | The Director may revoke a type certificate as prescribed in Document SA CATS 21. |
(2) | If the Director revokes a type certificate . he or she shall— |
(a) | provide reasons in writing for such revocation; |
(b) | provide reasonable notice and guidance to a State of Reqistrv that will be assuming ultimate responsibility for continued airworthiness of orphaned aircraft on their civil aviation aircraft register. |
(3) | The Director shall not be required to fulfil the requirements of subregulation (2 ) where there is an immediate safety risk to an aircraft type. |
(4) | The Director shall notify all Contracting States, of a revocation of a type certificate. |
