174.06.9 Use of aeronautical broadcasting service

(1) An ANSP  shall, where  applicable, provide meteorological information to aircraft in flight through continuous and scheduled VOLMET broadcasts on very high frequencies and on high frequency.

 

(2)The content of a continuous VOLMET broadcast on very high frequency shall contain current METAR and SPECI, together with trend forecast.

 

(3)The content of a scheduled VOLMET broadcast on high frequency shall contain current METAR and SPECI, together with trend forecast as well as TAF and SIGMET.
