(1) | A holder of an aerodrome licence shall, by means of markings on the surface of an aerodrome or by notices, or by means of both such markings and notices, demarcate routes on the apron for use by— |
(a) | persons other than a person carried in an aircraft or in or on a vehicle; |
(b) | aircraft travelling on the surface of an aerodrome; or |
(c) | vehicles and equipment. |
(2) | A holder of an aerodrome licence may restrict any route referred to in subregulation (1) to be used for the purpose of movement in one direction only. |
(3) | Save in an emergency and except along an appropriate route demarcated in terms of subregulation (1), a person may not proceed on foot on the apron or move an aircraft or a vehicle on the apron. |
(4) | A holder of an aerodrome licence must Provide the minimum clearance between an aircraft using an aircraft stand and any adjacent building, any other aircraft parked on another aircraft stand, or any other object as prescribed in Document SA-CATS 139. |
