139.01.6 Register of licences

(1)The Director shall maintain a register of all licences of intent, aerodrome licences, heliport licences, and helistop approvals issued in terms of this Part.

 

(2)A register referred to in subregulation (1) shall contain the following particulars:
(a)full name and, if any, a trade name of a holder of a licence or approval;
(b) postal address of a holder of a licence or approval;
(c) name and location of an aerodrome for which a licence was issued;
(d) name and location of a heliport or helistop for which a licence or approval was issued;
(e) a number allocated to a licence or approval issued;
(f) date on which a licence or approval was issued;
(g) file reference numbers of initial and subsequent safety inspection records and audit reports in respect of all aerodromes, heliports, and helistops; and
(h) nationality of a holder of licence or approval.

 

(3)The particulars referred to in subregulation (2) shall be recorded in the register within seven days from the date on which a licence or approval is issued by the Director.

 

(4)A register of licences and approvals shall be kept in a safe place at the premises of the Authority.

 

(5)A copy of register of licences and approvals shall be furnished by the Director, on payment of the appropriate fee as prescribed in part 187, to any person who requests a copy.
