(1) | In the event that the Republic becomes a State of Occurrence, the Executive responsible for aircraft accident and incident investigation shall, without delay, send a notification of the accident or serious incident in the manner prescribed in Document SA-CATS 12 to– |
(a) | the State of Registry; |
(b) | the State of the Operator; |
(d) | the State of Manufacture; and |
(e) | ICAO, when the aircraft involved is of a MCM in excess of 2 250 kg or is a turbojet-powered aeroplane. |
(2) | In the event that the Republic, as the State of Registry, institutes an investigation of an accident or serious incident, the Executive responsible for aircraft accident and incident investigation shall, without delay, send a notification of the accident or serious incident in the manner referred to in subregulation (1), to the States or organisation mentioned in paragraphs (b) to (e) of subregulation (1). |
(3) | In the event that the State of Occurrence is not aware of an accident or serious incident occurring in its territory, the Executive responsible for aircraft accident and incident investigation shall forward a notification received in terms of regulation 12.02.3 to the State of Design, the State of Manufacture and the State of Occurrence. |
