127.06.8 Demonstration flights

(1)The Director may require a commercial air transport or general aviation service operator to conduct satisfactory demonstration flights if the helicopter is to be operated in a designated special area, or requires the use of a specialised navigation system, or the scope of the intended operation, in the opinion of the Director, warrants such demonstration flights.

 

(2)The demonstration flights required in terms of subregulation (1) shall be conducted in accordance with the regulations applicable to the type of operation and helicopter used.
