101.05.15 Operations in the vicinity of public roads

A person shall not operate a UA over a public road, along the length of a public road, or at a distance of less than 50 m from a public road unless—

(a)such person is a holder of a UASOC and such operation has been approved by the Director;
(b)in the case of operations over a public road, such road has been closed for public use; and
(c)reasonable care has been taken to ensure the safety of road users and pedestrians in the event of a loss of control of such UAS.
